AIT - The Asian Institute of Technology established in Bangkok in 1959, AIT has become a leading regional postgraduate institution and partner with some of the top universities in the world. Its campus located 40 km (25 miles) north of Bangkok, Thailand.  There are1,933 Students from 50 Countries, 14,767 Alumni from 79 Countries and 104 Faculty from 22 Countries in 2007.

The AIT Day Seminar organized by AIT Alumni Association (AIT-AA) Myanmar Chapter and United Network Company in Myanmar from 4-11 February 2007 was opened by Dr. Khin Ni Ni Thein, Vice President for Development and Resources. At the event, AIT-AA Myanmar Chapter President Mr. Aung Myo Thaik, AIT Alumnus Dr. Kyaw Nyein Aye and Ms. More Phyu Mar Aung made presentations on AIT' three schools,  Prof. Said Irandoust, Associate Professor Dr. Cheng of SET and, Mr. Kyaw Soe Hlaing, Alumni Relations Coordinator.  Read More
